A New York qualified attorney, Yomi began his career in the New York and London offices of Weil, Gotshal & Manges and then Latham & Watkins.

Khadija’s legal career spans over 16 years working in some of the most prestigious law firms in the country, where she led teams and several turn-key legal projects in both the corporate and public sectors of the economy. Prior to joining Alaro City FZC, Khadija led the Competition Law Practice Unit at the prestigious firm of Olaniwun Ajayi LP.

Busola Bejide is an experienced finance professional with over 12 years’ experience that spans Audit & Business Assurance, finance strategy & transformation, financial planning, analysis and reporting, finance process optimization and implementation of financial controls and governance policies, Risk Management, Investment & Treasury Management, Strategy and Performance Management.
Before joining Alaro City, she was the Head, of Finance & Strategy at Coronation Registrars Limited. She led several client audit engagements while in audit practice and worked in different sectors; Oil & Gas, Financial Services, and Capital Market.

Yomi is a thorough-bred creative and business leader with numerous years of experience, having worked in the Aviation, Banking and Advertising industries; in the process, gaining diverse forms and levels of experience.
Over the past 7 years, he had worked in brand leadership as well as core strategy/account planning lead functions and has recorded several notable successes building and reinventing global and local brands across industries with some of the largest, Global Agency Networks.
He also led the MTN Business team in his past life and was the strategic brain behind the MTN Man in The Box Campaign for which he has received numerous awards in addition to many more on his trophy cabinet.
He is also an alumnus of Strategic Planning from the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town and is currently pursuing an MBA at a prestigious University in the UK.

Femi Akindele has over 24 years of experience in civil, building construction, and project management. He is a certified civil engineer and a certified construction project manager who is accomplished in commercial civil and building construction projects quickly and cost-effectively. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife and a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management from the American Academy of Project Management (Nigeria Chapter).
He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Contract Project and Facility Management, a Corporate Member of Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), a Certified Member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), and a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt Holder (CSSGB).
Femi cut his teeth with G.Cappa Plc and Grinaker-LTA of South Africa where he majored in the construction of high-rise luxury apartments and road construction. Bailey Fernando Ligtas
Bailey was formerly a Construction Engineer with AECOM Arabia for Jeddah Storm Drainage Project (JSDP) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Bailey was also a Senior Resident Engineer with Hill International for Al Fateh University projects in Libya. Bailey was also an Assistant Resident Engineer in various project in Dubai, UAE. Before joining Alaro City FZC, he was a Construction Manager with Laurus Development Partners Nigeria Ltd. for Heritage Place Building (LEED) in Lagos and Jabi Lake Mall in Abuja, Nigeria.
Ayotunde is a Project Associate at Alaro City and supports the project delivery function, proving strategic support to operations, finance and internal controls. He is a civil engineering graduate with multidisciplinary experience in the engineering and financial sectors.
Prior to joining Alaro City, Ayotunde worked as an Associate at CardinalStone Partners, an independent multi-asset investment management firm, where he was responsible for execution of various capital market and M&A transactions in addition to providing advisory services to companies in various sectors of the Nigerian economy. Ako Samuel Ojonuba
Ako Samuel Ojonuba is a Safety professional with over 6 years of HSE experience in Industrial/Manufacturing, Construction, and Agricultural sector. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Industrial Safety Technology from the Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, Delta State, Nigeria and a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Impact Assessment from Kaduna State University, Nigeria. He is currently a Master’s student in Environmental Impact Assessment at Kaduna State University, Kaduna, Nigeria.

Abdulwasiu is a Civil and Infrastructure Design Engineer that works with other engineers and construction professionals to design, supervise and prepare tender documents for roads, buildings, stormwater drains, culverts, and other civil engineering structures. He is a design professional with extensive knowledge of Civil/Structural and Infrastructure design and demonstrative skills in the use of civil/structural engineering software such as Sap2000, Protastructure, Revit Structure, AutoDesk Civil 3D, InfraWork, and WaterGems. He also has substantial data analytic skills in the use of Python and Tableau, data analytics in civil engineering Projects.
Before joining Alaro City, Abdulwasiu worked as a senior Structural Engineer with Team Nigeria Limited, a Civil/Infrastructure design consulting firm, where he was involved in the design and supervision of the Lagos-Ibadan section of the Lagos-Kano railway modernization project in Nigeria. Before this, he worked as a Civil/Structural engineer with the Harney project, where he was involved in the design and construction of building frames, retaining walls, rigid pavements, and other civil engineering structures.

Chidi is a lawyer with significant experience advising governments, financiers, supranationals and other local and multinational corporates
on transactions and projects such as mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, equity and debt capital markets, oil and gas, project development, insurance and tax structuring inward and outward Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa. Chidi has advised on transactions with a cumulative value in excess of US$20 billion.
Chidi’s previous experience includes a role with the corporate and commercial group at Nigerian law firm, Aluko & Oyebode, and a secondment at the London offices of Slaughter and May. He obtained his law degree from the University of Nigeria, and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
Qudus is a corporate strategy analyst with over 3 years of experience in various industries such as Banking, FMCG and Entertainment. He prefers to be known as the problem solver and forever takes pride in ensuring all client/customer issues are dealt with regardless of the type of industry he finds himself in.
He previously worked as a strategy analyst at Access Bank Plc, playing a vital role in aligning the strategies of old Access Bank and Diamond Bank to become Nigeria’s biggest bank. Adetayo is a Legal Practitioner and Notary Public with over fourteen years of experience in Free Zones administration. His experience spans Corporate and Commercial, Energy, Oil and Gas, Construction, Real Estate, and Manufacturing Sectors. He has negotiated and handled several multi-million Dollar cross-border transactions and serves as the Secretary to the inter-ministerial committee on Local Content in Free Zones.
He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) and has successfully fused legal practice with Free Zones Operations.
Free Zone Associate
Matthew is an experienced Free Zone Analyst with 8 years’ experience in the Nigeria Free Zone scheme. He played a key role in the fabrication of Africa’s largest oil producing and refining vessel (EGINA FPSO-Floating, Production, Storage, and Offloading). A project which was the first of its kind, delivered under the Nigerian Free Zone scheme in record time.

Ifeyinwa Nwaoyo, a COREN registered Engineer, is a seasoned techno-commercial Energy expert with ten years’ of experience in the Nigerian Power and Energy Industry. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering from the prestigious Covenant University and a Master’s degree in Energy and Technology Management from the University of Ibadan. An alumnus of the National Power Training Institute (NAPTIN), her foray into the power sector began as a Power Systems Engineer in Ikeja Electric – Nigeria’s largest Distribution Company. She served in various roles acquiring experience in Network Planning and Optimization, Energy and Operations Management, and has supervised several medium voltage network rehabilitation projects.
Ifeyinwa also worked as a Business Development Executive with an independent power-providing company, developing new business opportunities including renewables and fossil-fired solutions, as well as managing regulator relations.

Power & Infrastructure Engineer
Sunday Onifade is an engineering professional with over 12 years of experience in Project Management, Energy and Off-grid Power Systems, Power Service Level Agreement Negotiation, Energy Management, Operations, and Maintenance/Optimization of Power Generation Plants and Telecommunications. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the prestigious Igbinedion University, Okada, and a Master of Engineering Management Degree in Project Management from the University of Ibadan.
Prior to joining Alaro City, he worked as an Operations Analyst and Project Engineer at Uraga Power Solutions Limited where he developed and implemented optimization strategies and policies that increased the efficiency of the Apapa and Sagamu power plant led to a reduction in power outages and reduced equipment maintenance cost through condition-based monitoring strategies. This led to increased uptime and higher profit for the organization. He was also responsible for the planning and execution of the successful 2 x 3MW gas generator replacement Project at the live Apapa plant with minimum possible interruptions to the running operations.

Prior to joining Alaro City FZC, Peter worked with Marquis Royal Company, Naston Engineering Nigeria Limited; a consultant Company to Nigeria Bottling Company on Wastewater Treatment Facility Operation and Maintenance, and also Flexfilms Africa PVT.
