Alaro City’s CSR programs like all other Rendeavour projects are anchored on Rendeavour’s four CSR pillars: Education, Health, Conservation and Community
The partnership between Rendeavour and our host community envisions an environmentally and socially balanced transformation of land for development. Through a community trust, the people will enjoy the long-term benefits of the Alaro City development, which will lead to more empowerment and self-sufficiency.
Community
We continue to engage with our host community to understand what we can do to make a difference in the people’s lives. Since the inception of the project, we have been involved in all socio-cultural celebrations and events; from Ojude Oba Celebrations, Ileya, Christmas to the commemoration of the 20th coronation anniversary of the Monarch and supporting the community in difficult times such as providing palliatives to help during the lockdown as a result the Covid19 pandemic
Health
Access to clean water is an important part of maintaining great hygiene within the community. Recognising this, we donated a 50m deep borehole water system to help increase access to clean water by more people within the community.
